Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, with a separate sitting area and bedroom, very clean, and had a neat, traditional Japanese style. The service was top-notch, especially appreciated their prompt action in sending my lost item. The location, although not perfect, offered a good chance to enjoy some quiet time, but it could have been more attractive considering it's in one of the best Onsen spots in Japan. The dining experience, though not exceptional, was in authentic Japanese style and had some festive food during the New Year period.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was big with a nice River view, spacious, well-decorated, and had a veranda overlooking the garden. The bathroom and entrance were separate from the bedroom, which was equipped with a large desk, kettle, tea set, futon, and TV. The only downside was the noise from the nearby train railway until midnight and facing a car park.
The hotel offers very delicate, clean, and spacious rooms. The service was friendly with professional staff and a nice ambience from my room. The location is not exactly as expected but still manageable if you have your own vehicle. The dining experience was average with some festive food during Japan's New Year. The facilities are well-maintained and suitable for a relaxing stay.
The hotel rooms are amazing, spacious with dedicated add-ons like ice-water, and the staff make up your bed in the evening. The location is convenient, right next to the train railway, which can be a bit noisy until the train stops running near midnight. The service is top-notch, especially from the two staff at the restaurant. The dining blew us away with festive food during Japan New Year, but it could offer a more premium choice of food. The facilities are impressive with a briefing about the sauna room, and the hotel surroundings offer a great space for lounging around.
The hotel's rooms are perfect in terms of cleanliness and comfort, with some noise from the nearby train until late evening. The service provided was the best, especially with the quick futon preparation by the Nepalese lady named Joan. The location, although not the most convenient, offers a good contrast for quiet relaxation and is still overall good. The dining experience, while having generous and delicious offerings, could be more filling. The facilities are well-maintained and suitable for guests.
The hotel offers a mix of charm and comfort in a lovely setting, with attentive service and nice dining options. The rooms, although showing some age, provide a peaceful stay with adequate amenities.
The hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms with a great view of the river, ensuring a clean and huge living experience. The service is characterized by a friendly and helpful staff who go the extra mile to assist guests. Its location near the scenic river and morning markets provides quiet relaxation, although options may be limited late at night. The dining experience, while Japanese-style and occasionally festive, could improve in portion size. The facilities are well-equipped for a convenient stay.
The hotel offers a big room with a nice river view, accompanied by amazing service, incredible breakfast, and a great location. However, the reservation process for the restaurant could be clearer.
The hotel offers a lovely river-view with clean and huge rooms. However, there is a musty smell present, and occasional noise from passing trains can be heard.
The hotel room was big and clean with good views but had a lingering smell of smoke in a non-smoking room. The service was excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. The location, though a bit far from the train station, is spacious and lovely, situated in an interesting town with superb hospitality. The dining experience was extremely delicious, especially the Danish pastry provided by the hotel. The facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
